EEPC, India holds seminar on Czech Republic

Chandigarh, July 30, 2012: Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), India organised a seminar with PHD Chamber Chandigarh "Business Opportunities in Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe and India Show BRNO 2012,in Czech Republic".

Radka Calabkova First Secretary Consular and Commercial Affairs of Czech Embassy in New Delhi made a presentation on business opportunities in Europe through Czech Republic and she promoted India Show from September 10-14, 2012 being a great opportunity for Indian companies for technology transfer and B2Bs during the show. More than 90,000 visitors stepped in last year and 1800 companies are going to show case their products in MSV show 2012 of which India Show is a major partner.

She said Czech was a landlocked country surrounded by four major European countries including Germany, Poland, Austria dn Slovakia. If Indian companies participated they would get benefit of  doing business.

She revealed that five different exhibitions were taking place there, therefore, there were many opportunities for India that was a partner country in the show.

pinder Singh, Deputy Director , gave details of participation and said 50% subsidy on stall charges would be given by EEPC to its members .

Kundan Lal, Assistant Director MSME, spoke about MSME and said MSME was giving 75% air fare subsidy to SSI units in addition to the 50% stall subsidy if they participated in India Show Czech Republic in BRNO city. He also gave detail of MSME schemes for micro small and medium enterprises for technology upgradation and overseas marketing.

Dalip Sharmam Regional Director of PHD Chamber, stressed for need to showcase products in India Show.

More than 45 leading companies participated in the event.
