Elante celebrates Jashan-e-Lohri with Old Age Home inmates

Chandigarh, January 13, 2017: Lighting up the spirits of inmates of Old Age Home, Sector 15 on the Lohri eve, Elante mall played the perfect Punjabi host to make the Lohri celebrations special for them in every possible way on Thursday evening.
About 50 inmates of the Old Age Home had a time of their lives at Jashan-e-Lohri in The Courtyard area of the mall as Elante regaled them by engaging Jassi and RJ Meenakshi of MY FM 94.3, who elevated the spirits of the senior citizens with their exhilarating show. Adding to the excitement, a clowning act by the CEVA Drama Repertory Company had the special guests in peels of laughter. Earlier, the Elante staff welcomed the Old Age Home inmates to beats of dhol. There were festivities all around with the elderly visitors laughing and dancing around the traditional bonfire and singing traditional Lohri songs.
