ELECTION FOR DAIRY TRAINING COURSES ON JANUARY 3

INTERVIEW TO BE HELD AT DAIRY TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, BIJA; FARMERS CAN EARN EXTRA INCOME BY VENTURING INTO DAIRY – HANS
Ludhiana, December 26, 2016: Dairy Training and Development Centre, Bija (Ludhiana) is running dairy training courses and the selection of candidates for these courses would be held at 10 am on January 3, 2017.
Mr Dilbagh Singh Hans, Deputy Director Dairy cum Incharge, Dairy Training Centre, Bija informed that during the dairy training courses, the trainees are educated about various aspects of dairy farming such as things to keep in mind before starting dairy farming, breeds of milch cattle, ways to grow green fodder throughout the year, common diseases of cattle, besides several others. He said besides the officials of the department, the experts from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) also interact with the trainees during the course of training. And the trainees who complete this training successfully, the department also helps them in securing bank loan for setting up their own ventures.
