Dharamshala, December 31, 2016: The luxury buses shall charge less in Himachal from new year. Disclosing this in Shimla today the Transport Minister GS Bali said," we have redused the fare of luxury buses including Volvo in selected routes to attract more travelers."
He said the Volvo's on Dharamshala-Haridwar,Manali-Haridwar,Mecleodganj-Delhi(8am),Chintpurni-Delhiand Jwalaji- Delhi routes shall charge 15%less from 15th Jan To 31st Dec 2017.
He further said that the super luxury12 to18 seater tempo travellers running between Dharamshala-Chandigarh,Shimla -Chandigarh and Manali-Chandigarh will only charge 50? extra to ordinary buses,reducing about 50?of the present fare.
Minister said,"the government has included 1800 new buses in the fleet of Himachal Road Transport Corporation,in past 4 years. 200 more buses shall be included next year. And 300 condom buses shall be places out of the road." He claimed that HRTC is the only state transport in India to have so many new buses.
