Anurag Sharma and Shyam Katuri as Apparel & Non-Apparel sourcing leads
New Delhi, August 28, 2015: FashionAndYou, India’s leading flash sales website in the fashion and lifestyle space is sprucing up its squad to make further headway in the e-commerce market. The Gurgaon-based company has announced the appointment of new leadership for its apparel and non-apparel teams. While Anurag Sharma has been appointed as the Associate Vice President for sales and sourcing of the apparel category, Shyam Katuri will lead the non-apparel team as the Associate Vice President.
Anurag, who is a Delhi University and NIFT graduate, has earlier worked with Genesis Colors, Satya Paul, Reebok India and ITC Wills Lifestyle. Shyam, on the other hand, has worked with top global companies such as Wal-Mart, Li & Fung, Landmark Group and fashion portal Jabong.com in domains as varying as e-commerce, retail, sourcing and technology.
By leveraging their expertise and industry exposure, FashionAndYou will be looking at giving a new direction to its two highly pivotal teams. It had also recently announced on boarding of top talent for its product management and technology teams.

Fashion is the fastest growing category in the Indian e-commerce space after consumer electronics. By 2020, it is estimated that online fashion retail will make up almost 35% of the total revenue generated by e-retail in India. This demonstrates the scale of opportunity for existing market leaders like FashionAndYou. It is, therefore, gearing up with fresh talent in senior management positions to make its foothold stronger and the process of scaling up faster. Anurag will be ramping up the apparel segment with further additions in the brand pool. Shyam will be addressing the growing demand for a wide range of footwear and fashion accessories along with the home & living vertical.
