Ludhiana, February 3, 2014: A meeting of FASII national president Badish Jindal with the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and other ministers was held during the inauguration of a medical college & hospital in Gulbarga (Karnataka).
In a statement issued here today, Jindal said the interaction was also done with Malikarjun Khargay , Minister for Railways, Oskar Fernandis (Union Minister for Road Transport & Labour), KH Munniappa (Union Minister for MSME), Digvijay Singh (Spokesperson UPA) and K Suresh (Minister of State for Labour ). The Chief Ministers of Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh were also present.
“FASII raised many issues such as cheap imports from china, ban on SAFTA, quick implementation of GST & DTC”, said Jindal, adding FASII strongly raised the issue of forming an agency on the lines of BIFR to check the sickness in MSME. Also,
FASII raised the issue of corruption in various departments, he revealed.
