Jalandhar, December 30, 2013: The ongoing protest by volunteers of Aam Aadami Party (AAP) today entered into tenth day.
Protest is being staged at Company Bagh here, against property tax and other taxes recently introduced by the state government. Joginder Singh Multani and Kamaldeep Singh were on fast for the last ten days. Today they were joined by six others namely Rajeev Anand, Rajneesh Kumar, Jaspal Singh, Santok Singh, Kulwinder Kaur and Kuldeep Kaur. They demanded abolition of taxes such as property tax and e-TRIP.
Meanwhile, Rai Welfare Society volunteers on Monday also staged protest at Company Bagh here, against the property tax.
