A delegation of Punjab Rice Millers Association on Monday meets PPCC General Secretary Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa at Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, October 28, 2013: A delegation of Punjab Rice Millers Association today met PPCC General Secretary Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa here today and shared their problems with him in the absence of PPCC President Partap Singh Bajwa who had fixed a meeting with them.

Fateh Bajwa gave an assurance to the Rice Millers that Congress party was committed to resolve the issues of Rice Millers related with center government and to help them come out of the debt. He said that he would convey the feelings of Rice Millers to PPCC President.

Fateh Bajwa told the members of delegation that Partap Singh Bajwa who is in Delhi had met the Union Ministers and AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi to apprise them of problems of Sheller owners and farmers of Punjab. He said that already a meeting of Rice Millers Association was organised with Union Food Minister K.V.Thomas.

Fateh Bajwa said that policies of SAD-BJP government in Punjab were against the Sheller owners and farmers and none of them is happy. He said that total chaos prevailed in Punjab due to lop sided policies. He said that Badal family had no interest in Punjab since they have major investment is made outside Punjab.

The Rice Millers Association leaders Gian Bharadwaj, Roshan Lal Roshi. Jagtar Singh Rajla, Gamdoor Singh and Hazari Lal said that Punjab Government had branded them as thieves. They said that they were ready to return every grain of rice to Punjab but they regretted that state government has not presented their case for extension in deadline for milling of rice with the center government. Thomas had told the delegation that Punjab Government had not sent him any proposal for extension in the milling date. www.cityairnews.com
