FAUJA Singh asks Punjabi youths to stop indulging into drug menace and start drinking “lassi” and milk

Ludhiana, August 4, 2013: Veteran marathon athlete Fauja Singh has said if the youths of Punjab stop indulging into drug menace then they could win any race or competition what to speak of marathon.
During his visit here, he said even today he has the power to beat the youths of Punjab in race.
On the occasion, he was honoured by a local Congress leader.
He regretted that there was a time when the youths of Punjab were known for power in them but he regretted that
now the drug menace has changed the overall scenario.
He said had he been indulged into drug menace it would not have been possible for him to win marathon at an older age. He made an appeal to the youths of Punjab to drink “lassi” and milk and eat curd, if they wanted to live long life like him.
