Festival of Christmas celebrated at Cambridge

Jalandhar, December, 26, 2014: Cambridge International Foundation School & Cambridge International School for Girls celebrated the festival of Christmas with fervor and joy.

Every section of students celebrated Christmas in their own fine way. Students of IB PYP enjoyed this great day by building a small little Church in School Campus and then decorated it by ribbons and small jingle bells. They sang Christmas Carols along with the teachers and mentors and spread across the wave of fun and excitement all around. A special cake was organised for this lovely occasion which was then cut and savored by all the students and teachers of IB. To make the children understand the importance of Christmas, students of Kindergarten IB and Sparkling Stars of Girls & Co-ed visited St Mary's Cathedral Church in Jalandhar Cantt. Being the very first outdoor visit of Sparkling Stars, it was a very different and exciting experience for the little ones as they are getting ready for their bigger challenges and ventures in life with their tiny little friends. Parents of Sparkling Stars were also invited in the school Campus to spend some time with the kids which took the spirits to the next level.  Little kids got delighted when they were bestowed with Goodie Bags as a token of Love for them. The main attraction for the little ones was the dance party in which they enjoyed a lot and it was a real fun watching their little tiny feet moving on the beats of music. Concluding the whole function Principal Meenu Huria, Vice-Principal and Coordinators Monica Jouhal and Tanu Oberoi  extended a note of thanks to all the parents for their cooperation wished them Merry Christmas and gave best wishes for the year to come.
