FICO organised Rozgar Mela

Ludhiana, December 31, 2016: Today, a 7 day camp has been inaugurated by S.Gurmeet Singh Kular President Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization Popularly known as FICO. The camp has been organized by Rockman Skill Development Centre and will be operational from Saturday to Friday at FICO Office B-XXI, 1956, Jaimal Singh Road, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana.

Rockman Skill Development Centre is providing Free of Cost Training, which is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative of M/s Rockman Industries Limited for providing skilled manpower to the industry, The Youth aged between 18 to 35 years and should be atleast 8th passed are eligible for the Free of Cost CSR Training Program. It is a 4 Month Training Program with 3 Months of training at Skill Development Centre at Hampton Court Business Park D-24 near Fortis Hospital, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana and 1 month OJT (On Job Training) Program. After the successful completion of training the youth will be provided with assured Jobs. During 9 AM to 5 PM Training, students will also be provided with Lunch, Uniform and Stationery complimentary from Rockman Industries Ltd. Training will also include a workshop on basic knowledge of Computers & English Soft Skills.

S. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO congratulated and welcomed the initiative of Rockman Industries Limited and said that such type of training programs will not only be beneficial to the industry as industry is facing a major shortage of Skilled Workers, but also a it is a golden opportunity for unemployed youth of Ludhiana to secure a decent job in their home city. Kular further added free of Cost training program will help the Industry by providing Local Manpower as the industry today is loaded with manpower from other states. Kular has also appealed the unemployed youth to enroll them for CSR Training and secure a good job in their home town itself.
