FICO organises session on GST & starts FICO GST Help Desk

Ludhiana, June 17, 2017: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization popularly known as FICO organized a session on GST & its Impacts on Industry at a local hotel. And enlightens its members with Goods and Service Tax, which is going to be implemented from 1st July, 2017. A panel of experts comprising of Sh.A.K.Sharma IRS (Commissioner Customs & Service Tax), Miss Harsimran Kaur Grewal Excise & Taxation Officer & Master Trainer GST, Sh.Baldeep Karan Singh Excise & Taxation Officer & Master Trainer GST, Sh.Sudhir Malhotra Advocate of M/s Sudhir Malhotra Legal Associates Delhi were keynote speakers on GST

FICO has also signed an MOU with M/s Sudhir Malhotra Legal Associates and Started FICO GST Helpdesk for its Members, where member can send their queries about GST, and FICO will discuss with Experts and revert within 24 Hours to that queries.

Sh. K. K. Seth Chairman FICO welcomed all the members present and said that Goods & Service Tax is a very hot topic as it is going to be implemented from 1st July & we are not much aware about its working techniques, Sh. K. K. Seth has given special emphasis on guidelines of GST and told the members that we all have to follow the guidelines of GST.

Sh. Sudhir Malhotra Advocate of M/s Sudhir Malhotra Legal Associates, elaborated in deep details about Goods & Service Tax. He has told that GST is based on supply, and if we have branch offices in other states to, than we have to register ourselves under GST in other states too. He also told that the threshold limit in GST is Rs.20 Lakh.

Miss Harsimran Kaur Grewal Excise & Taxation Officer & Master Trainer GST, elaborated about how we can get Input Tax Credit with CGST, SGST & IGST.

Sh. Baldeep Karan Singh Excise & Taxation Officer & Master Trainer GST, elaborated about GST Dashboard to FICO members. He has explained the working of GST Dashboard.

Sh. A. K. Sharma IRS (Commissioner Customs & Service Tax),shared the Prime Minister’s Vision of One Nation, One Market, One Tax, GST.

Sh. Tarun Kumar from TallyERP explained in detail in his presentation about working of GST Compatible Tally Software and describe in details the functional working like preparing GST Reports & uploading to GST reports to GST portal.

S. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO presented the Vote of Thanks & showed his gratefulness to the exports who have spared time from their busy schedule for FICO & its Members. S. Gurmeet Singh Kular also told the members that the GST Migration website will get started again from 25th June, 2017 and members should focus on getting themselves migrated to GST.
