FICO organises session on Industrial Safety

Ludhiana, October 31, 2014: Federation of Industrial and Commercial organizations (FICO), Ludhiana organised a session on Industrial Safety in which Jasdev Singh Sidhu, ADCP (Additional Deputy Commissioner Police Ludhiana-2) was the chief guest and Rupinder Kaur Sra, ACP presided the function.

Industrial security was discussed. It was discussed that more vigilante to be kept on the payment and advance pay days so that migratory labour is not robbed off. Additional Commissioner assured to provide extra force to keep vigil and a seminar on industrial security be organised to aware the industrialists regarding industrial security.

Traffic problem was also discussed and suggestion was given to increase the PCR and TAVERA. Also discussed about the manual control on traffic during morning and evening peak hours at crossing  points mainly in Giaspura and near Dhandari over-bridge. 

It was also suggested to re-launch surveillance cameras in city to keep track of the public at large and to keep vigil.

It was discussed that participation of public and police to go hand in hand, traffic marshals to be provided, community policing to be started so that crime can be curbed.

Additional Commissioner Police assured to take positive measure and will fix meeting with industrialist to prepare course of action within next 10days.
