Ferozepur, January 13, 2013:  The Ferozepur being a border town and despite having the representation of Kamal Sharma, political adviser to chief minister, Punjab, the people are not having the basic amenities of clean drinking water, proper sewerage system, no street lights besides no setting up of industry by the government, is getting a step-motherly treatment despite being a land of martyr.

All these problems were brought to the notice of Padmshree Vijay Chopra on his visit to Ferozepur by Varinder Chopra, National Organiser of Crime and Corruption Reforms Orgnisation and Ram Saroop Garg, National President.

Varinder Chopra and his associates appealed to Vijay Chopra to highlight the problems of this border in his esteemed newspaper to expose the working of the government.

After listening to the problems, Vijay Chopra assured to do his best to help through his pen and said, people should not be dependent on governments.  He advised the society to be conscious and understand the power of their votes and when the leaders come for votes in the elections, they should ask them without any inhibition as to what has done for the city during their tenure.  He further said, not depending only on the government, the people should come forward for setting up of industry and self-employment works and when we all will be awaken, then there will be no problem.
