This was followed by the setting up of four more Sr. Secondary schools in the villages of Punjab, in a Public Private Partnership model with the State Government, under its Adarsh scheme. Satya Bharti Schools provide free, quality education to underprivileged children, with a focus on the girl child, across rural India.

Vijay Chadda, CEO, Bharti Foundation said, “It is a matter of great pride and joy for all of us at Bharti Foundation. The resounding success of the first batch of Class XII students bears testimony to the grit and determination of our students as much as the quality of education being provided by Satya Bharti Schools across rural India.”

Simarjit Kaur, who scored 90% marks stated, “I managed to do well only because of the support of my mother and Satya Bharti School teachers. I will always remain thankful to them.” Simarjit joined Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary School in 2010 and soon began to excel in all aspects of schooling due to the holistic development approach adopted at the school. Simarjit and her teachers are convinced that she will continue to scale new heights and serve as a stellar example for other girls in her village.

Another shining example, Navjot Kaur, scored 80% marks. Navjot has had a hard life from an early age and had to support her family by taking tuitions, which she continued even during her Class XII Board exams. Her perseverance and will to reach the pinnacles of success has created a long lasting impression on her peers and other students in the school. She aspires to serve her community by pursuing a career in Public Services.
