Fortis Hospital Ludhiana Doctors and their Spouses celebrated Valentine Day with Senior Citizens

Ludhiana, February 10, 2017: To make Valentine day special for Senior Citizen’s Fortis Hospital Ludhiana celebrated this day in a very different manner. Programme was held under the supervision of Mr.Vivan Singh Gill, Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana.

Mr.Gill said, “Like your birthday and New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day is another way of judging the state of your relationship. An exchange of flowers, candy or heart-shaped cards might be enough for most young couples on Valentine's Day.

Cake Cutting ceremony was done by Participants and Doctors. A Special Compatibility test, Musical Chair games, Couple dance, Make up round, Khatarnak Morh etc were the main attraction of the event. To mark Valentine's Day special for senior citizens surprise gift were also given to the couples. During the activity Make up round Dr. Mrs. Sekhon and Dr. Garima Matta shared that they looked the best after the makeover done by their husbands and the cost of Beauty Saloons shall be saved from now on.

Dr. Rajeev Kundra, Medical Superintendent, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana said, “Back in the 90s, nobody was concerned with the celebration of Valentine’s day. The general population was unaware of the event, and the few who knew went merry way with chocolates, cut-out hearts, red balloons and the hope of securing a date or making a loved one feel special.

To make them feel very special Doctors also participated along with their spouses. The whole hospital was decorated with Red balloons. Anchoring was done by Mr. Shrikant Juneja & Ms. Amarjeet Kaur.
