Ludhiana: Dr.Sabia Qureshi, a former PhD student of the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana has been awarded the prestigious ISVIB Woman Scientist Award Gold Medal.

The award was conferred at the XXIII Annual Convention of Indian Society for Veterinary Immunology and Biotechnology (ISVIB) and National Conference on “Challenges in livestock and poultry production - Solutions with Biotechnology”, held at KNP College of Veterinary Science, Shirwal, District Satara, Maharashtra.

Dr. Qureshi is presently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Srinagar, Kashmir.
