GGNIMT student bags silver in ‘Best Physique Male ‘

Ludhiana, November 6, 2017: Promoting Sports as an integral part of the college system, GGNIMT (Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology) makes its students to participate in various sports activities organized across the region. In one such instance, GGNIMT (Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology) student Vasu Dev Sharma of B. Com. 5th Sem brought laurels to the Institute by bagging a silver medal in ‘Best Physique-Male’ event during the “IKG PTU Inter College Power Lifting, Weight Lifting and Best Physique(M) Tournament” held at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran.

Vasu Dev Sharma informed that he competed with 15 other participants in the category of 66-70 kgs. He attributed his success to his balanced diet and a rigorous & regular workout schedule.

Dr. Harpreet Singh, Pricipal , GGNIMT congratulated Vasu Dev for his remarkable achievement. He said platform like these inspire the young students to choose their career in the arena of Body Building & Modelling.

Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT appreciated the efforts of Vasu Dev and wished him good luck for his future endeavours. When the youth of Punjab is addicted to non-hygienic lifestyle, it is heartening to see that students like Vasu give due importance to their health, he added.
