GGNIMTians bid Farewell to the seniors

Ludhiana, April 26, 2017: The second year students of GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, on Tuesday organised a farewell party: “Rukhsat” to bid adieu to the senior batches.
The gala event began with the welcome note by Gurpreet Singh Bhatia of BCA 4th and Chakx Asis Singh of B.Com 4th. This was followed by a cultural show put by the juniors. The solo dance performances by Komal of B.Com 4th semester and Ishaan Ali of BBA 4th semester won many applaud. The duet dance by Ekjot Kaur of B.Com 4th and Vishwas of BCA 2nd sem stole many hearts. The mesmerizing group dance by Kashish, Riya and Chetna from B.com 4th semester was appreciated by one and all. The group songs by Prabhjot Singh of BBA 6th sem and Gurpreet Singh of BCA 4th sem were cherished by all. These spectacular performances were followed by some memorable moments captured in form of videos that the juniors dedicated to their senior friends.
The star attraction of the day was Mr. and MS Farewell Contest. The participants underwent three rounds of the contest. The prizes were as follows:

The seniors were moved with this very warm and kind gesture. Arvinder Singh Gill of MBA 4th gave a thanksgiving speech and acknowledged the endless support of the teachers and management in grooming them. Love Arora of BCA 6th expressed gratitude and shared his fond memories in the college. The emotional speeches by Ishaan Ali of BBA 6th and Aman Chopra of B. Com 6 th made everyone have tears in their eyes.
The event concluded with a motivational speech by Prof. M.S Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT. He guided the students to stay focused and determined in life. He blessed the outgoing batch with good wishes for their bright future. Dr. P. S Khattra, Principal, GGNIMT appreciated the organizers for putting up a great show.
