Ludhiana, March 27, 2017: In keeping with its commitment to create a fine balance between study and play, GGNIVS held badminton tournaments which extended over a period of 3 days. Defying the notion that gadget-driven, present generation shirks physical activity, huge number of students from various classes took part in the game, each vying to outdo the other. It was
thorough fun both for the players as well as the audience. Everyone appeared to be pretty gripped by the spectacular show put up by the players. In-between, it was refreshing to see some teachers holding rackets for a game or two. In the mixed doubles game Satwinder (BBA 6th Sem) and Jaspreet(B.Com 6th Sem) were declared the winners. While among girls (Singles) Susan Varghese(B.Com 2nd Sem) was the winner.
These tournaments were a refreshing change in the monotonous routine of everyday life.
