Governor of Pakistan (Punjab) Mohammad Sarwar calls on Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shivraj V. Patil at Punjab Raj Bhavan on Monday along with Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, PWD Minister, Punjab and with other officers from Pakistan.

Chandigarh, February 17, 2014:  A six member delegation from Pakistan led by Governor of Pakistan Punjab Mohamad Sarwar today called on Shivraj V.Patil, the Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh at Punjab Raj Bhavan.
Mohammad Sarwar who earlier visited Punjab Progressive Agriculture Summit appreciated the initiative of Punjab Government, while interacting with Patil. He said that such conferences go long way in educating and motivating farmer’s community to follow the guidelines and recommendations of agricultural experts.
Discussing various issues at length with Governor of Pakistan Punjab, Patil said that Punjab has achieved a major breakthrough in the agriculture sector and allied fields and state is emerging as a progressive and vibrant investment destination. He said that land of Punjab is very fertile and farmers were also very hard working. Besides agriculture both the Governors discussed scope in the area of tourism and Culture.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Punjab P.W.D. (B & R) Minister and M.P.
