A grand evening to rejoice a golden couple
Mumbai: It was an evening to celebrate and cherish the love of two people who came together 50 years ago and whose bond has only gone from strength to strength. Subhash Runwal, Chairman of Runwal Group and his wife Chanda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a grand function at the Dome, NSCI, Worli on Saturday. Several high profile celebrities, corporate honchos and the crème-de-la-creme of the city graced the occasion to wish the beautiful couple who rose from humble beginnings to build an opulent empire.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackerey, HDFC Chairman, Deepak Parekh, Vice Chairman and CEO, HDFC Keki Mistry, Senior BJP leader, Prakash Mehta, Maharashtra State Government Cabinet Minister, Eknath Shinde all turned up to convey their best wishes to the property tycoon and his charming wife on their milestone year.
The splendid event had an elegant cake cutting ceremony for the charismatic couple followed by heartfelt speeches by many who extolled and congratulated the Runwals for their splendid and adventurous journey together.
The lavish party ended on a sweet note as guests wished the radiant couple many more years of togetherness.
