HARYANA CM announces to make Bawal a Sub- Division and Manethi Sub –Tehsil

Bawal (Haryana), February 24, 2013: Haryana Chief Minister,   Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced to make Bawal a Sub- Division and Manethi a Sub –Tehsil.

Addressing a mammoth Vikas Rally at Bawal on Sunday, Hooda gave a number of gifts to the people of Bawal, including a women college at Pali, a PHC hospital at Khori and a polytechnic at Dhamlawas.

He also announced that the Regional College of Hisar Agriculture University at Bawal, which was earlier functioning here, was closed during the regime of Chautala. This will be re-opened from July this year.

Hooda also announced the construction of a Stadium at Bawal , an independent Anaj Mandi at Bawal and a new Bus Stand in Bawal. He also said that the road between Bawal and National Highway will be widened and strengthened.

Hooda was very happy to see  huge gathering and said that a number of development schemes have been started for the development of this area during past 8 years.  Southern Haryana has been bestowed with a Central University, a Defence University, a Sainik School at village Pali. Saying that the development  is an ongoing process, he announced a sum of Rs. 10 crore for the development of villages of Bawal constituency and Rs. 15 lakh each for the development of 13 wards of Bawal Muncipal Committee.

Earlier, the Chief Minister dedicated six projects of over Rs. 43 crore to the people of Bawal. They included inauguration of a Sports Stadium at village Panchor in Bawal, constructed at a cost of Rs. 65 lakh and inauguration of Expansion Building of ITI Kund-Manethi, constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.68 crore.  He also laid foundation stone for a Veterinary Hospital at Manethi, which will cost Rs. 33 lakh. He laid foundation stone for 3 canal based water supply schemes for Kalrawas, Saban and Mamariya Thethar, which will cost about Rs. 35 crore.

Hooda said that he is aware about the problem of water in this area and full attention is being paid to solve this problem. For equal distribution of water for different areas, BML Hasi-Butana canal has been constructed. Efforts are being made to see that the court case is solved. Then southern Haryana will also get its share of Bhakra water. Referring to various demands, Hooda said that separate Block office building will be constructed for Khol. Schools, which fulfill the parameters, will be up-graded.

Hooda said that serious consideration will be given to upgrade the regional centre at Mirpur into University.

The Chief Minster said that his government is making all efforts to make Haryana  “number one” state of country. He thanked the people for supporting the Congress policies and giving him chance to serve the people of the State for 2nd time. He assured the people that his government will be working more hard for the welfare of the people of the State.

Referring to his visits to Bawal, Hooda said that he has earlier been to Bawal three times. Expressing his happiness on seeing the big crowd of people, Mr Hooda said this is a historic rally. He promised to do everything possible for the upliftment of this area.

Earlier addressing the rally, Health Minister Rao Narender Singh said that Haryana has never seen such a tremendous progress during first 40 years of its inception, which it has seen in last eight years under the leadership of Chief Minister Hooda. His style of working is totally different. The policies, which Haryana starts, are later adopted by centre and other states.

Haryana Power Minister, Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav said that the Chief Minister Hooda is taking care of development of all the regions of the State. He wants that Southern region should get its due share of water. He also spoke about different problems of the area and expressed hope that the Chief Minister will be meeting all the demands.

Congress President Phool Chand Mulana said that the condition and direction of Haryana has changed under the Chief Ministership of Mr Hooda. It is the love and respect of the people for Hooda, that they have turned up in such a large number.

CPS Rao Dan Singh and Anita Yadav, MLAs Dharam Singh Chhokkar, Aftab Ahmad and Rao Dharampal and former Ministers Jaswant Singh and Shakuntla Bhagwaria also appreciated the working of State government and said that all sections of the society are getting the benefits of Haryana government schemes.
