Palampur in Kangra district was the most wet place in Himachal with -192 mm of rain followed by Jogindernagar-160 mm, Banjar-145 mm, Nagrotasurian-132 mm, Kheri-140mm, Dharamshala-125mm, Baijnath-122mm, Hamirpur-78mm, Gaggal Airport- 69mm, Dehra Gopipur & Kandaghat-56 mm each, Bharwain-50mm, Rohru-46mm, Jhandutta -40mm, Bhuntar & Mandi-38 mm each, Bajaura-32mm, Berthin-26mm, Kasauli & Bhoranj-22 mm each, Seobagh & Dharampur -17 mm each, Rajgarh & Amb – 15 mm each, Solan & Janjehli – 14mm each, Kotkhai & Sarkaghat – 12 mm each, and Kumarsain, Bijahi & Karsog-11 mm each of rainfall.
According to the Metrological Department, the weather changes in the state is because of yesterday’s western disturbance as a trough in mid tropospheric westerlies with its axis 5.8 km amsl now runs roughly along Long. 71
Department predicts rain/thundershowers at most places low hills middle hills in the coming 5 days with heavy rainfall likely at isolated places during 72 hours.

There was no appreciable change in maximum & minimum temperatures during last 24 hours in Himachal Pradesh. The lowest temperature recorded at Salooni 12.5 degree Celsius and Highest temperature recorded at Una 36.0 degree Celsius.
