Ludhiana, February 20, 2015: Sudarshan Munjal, wife of Hero Cycles Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) O P Munjal, died at a local private hospital here on Friday after a brief illness.
As per the available information, the deceased was 81-year-old and she is survived by husband, four daughters and son Pankaj Munjal.
Her cremation took place at Model Town Extension cremation ground here this evening.
A large number of people from variety of sections of the society were present at the time of cremation.
Meanwhile, according to a release issued by the United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA) those who paid tributes to Sudarshan Munjal, included Deputy Commissioner Rajat Aggarwal, Mayor Municipal Corporation Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, the UCPMA president Chanranjit Singh Vishivkarma, Spokesman Manjit Singh Khalsa, general secretary CICU Upkar Singh Ahuja, and others including Inderjit Singh Navyug, Manmohan Singh Ubhi, Pardeep Wadhawan, S.K Lakra and Rajnish Ahuja.
