HERO ECOTECH draws huge crowds at Bicycle Expo in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, February 23, 2013: The India-International Cycle Expo 2013 at Ludhiana witnessed a phenomenal response on Saturday with heavy rush at the stalls put up by Hero Ecotech Limited.

The main attraction were a slew of new models that Kross, the global cycle brand of Hero Ecotech Limited, launched at the cycle expo that has become an annual feature of Ludhiana. All major domestic and major bicycle manufacturers have participated in this 3-day expo.

Also on display was Hero Ecotech’s Hybrid bicycles worth over Rs 2 lakhs that were a show-stealer. This is an e-bike that is extensively being retailed all over Europe by the company and is soon going to be available in other countries as well.

In a bid to entertain the customers, Hero EcoTech Limited also organised many events infront of their stall and handed out a few bicycles to customers who participated in a draw that was held at the company stall. Many discount coupons and goodies were also handed out to the customers visiting the store.

Gaurav Munjal, Managing Director, Hero EcoTech Limited, said, “We are very happy with the response that the people have given us. This is a very good time for the bicycle industry as people are becoming health conscious. Also, our latest range of bikes is targeted towards the youth of the country that constitutes over 70 per cent of the Indian population at present. We have planned many new products for the Indian and International markets that will soon be launched. A few of the upcoming bikes are also on display.”

Hero EcoTech Limited also deliberated about their future plans for the company and the major developments so far.
