Shimla, March 30, 2017: Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh has congratulated Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS and Dr. Devender Singh Rana, Chairman, Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi for being awarded with the prestigious B.C Roy Award by the President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee in eminent medical person category.
Shri Virbhadra Singh said it was a matter of great honour for the State that two eminent doctors of the country who hail from Himachal Pradesh had been awarded with this prestigious Award.
In his felicitation letters to both Padamshree recipient doctors, the Chief Minister has said that it had been possible due to their hard work put in throughout the years, the dedication, selfless service for the mankind and the commitment for their profession.
He said it was a matter of pride that both the doctors had earned the name for the state and it was due to their hard work, talent and abilities that they were serving on the prestigious posts of the apex health institutions of the North India.
The Chief Minister has wished them all the success in their future endeavours.
