Himachal News/Sharma thanks Himachal CM for announcing Degree College for Kumarsain

Dharamsala, December 12, 2013: Atul Sharma, Vice Chairman, State Industries Development Corporation has thanked Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for announcing Government Degree College for Kumarsain in Shimla district with financial estimate of Rupees five crore for the construction of the college building.
He said that this has met a long cherished demand of people of the area. He also thanked the Chief Minister for inaugurating Behna Khud to Baragaon lift water supply scheme constructed at a cost of Rs. 558.20 lakh. He said that the scheme would benefit over 11,000 people of 82 hamlets of five gram panchayats of the area.
He thanked the Chief Minister for announcing opening of Sub-Tehsil for Kotgarh and upgrading Community Health Centre, Kumarsain to 50-bedded hospital along-with construction of additional hospital block. He said that this would provide better health facilities to the people of the area nearer to their home.
Sharma also thanked the Chief Minister for announcing upgradation of senior secondary schools for Shalota and Kotighat and Teshan middle school and Sanawagi government primary school. He said that this would provide quality education facilities to the students at their doorsteps. He said that construction of PWD rest house at Kangal and Baragaon, besides renovation of old rest house of Baragaon would give boost to the tourism activities in the area.
He also thanked Irrigation & Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes for effectively taking up the issues of development of Theog-Kumarsain Constituency.
