Jalandhar, October 30, 2014: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar observed the Nirvaan Diwas of Swami Dayanand Saraswati in the College Morning Assembly.
A musical tribute was given by the students of Music Department by singing the bhajan “Chamkenge Jab Tak Chand Suraj Taare…Hum Hai Rishi Dayanand Tab Tak Rinni Tumhare” under the guidance of Dr Prem Sagar.
The Principal Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj enlightened the students with Swami’s contribution in fight against social evils and the role, he played in women empowerment. Dr. Rama Chaudhary, Dean Students Council motivated the students to follow the steps of Dayanand Saraswati to make this society a better place to live in.
The Head Girl Vanita Khosla and Diksha students of SSC.II highlighted the uniqueness and greatness of Swami’s personality.
