Ludhiana, October 23, 2017: In today’s digital world, mobile app has become extremely popular, since the mobile app allows the persons/customers to engage with organization directly anywhere and anytime they feel necessity for. In a bid to let farmers/entrepreneurs/firms harvest the best of mobile technology, ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana has developed mobile app which is easy to access, easy to explore and more user friendly and provide many information about Institute infrastructure, facilities, CIPHET activities, Trainings and Technologies developed in ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana. Apart from this current mandi price and weather forecast is also available on the app. This mobile app of ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana has been launched by Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra Hon’ble Director General, ICAR and Secretary, DARE, New Delhi in presences of Dr. K. Alagusundaram, DDG (Engg.), ICAR, Dr.R.K.Gupta, Director ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana and Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice chancellor PAU Ludhiana. The app was developed by Dr. Ranjeet Singh, Sr, Scientist and Dr. V.E. Nambi Scientist ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana. The prominent present on the occasion included Dr. S.K. Nanda, Head FG & OP Division, Dr. S.K. Tyagi I/C Head AS & EC Division, Dr. Ranjeet Singh I/C ITMU & Sr. Scientist, Dr. V.E. Nambi, Scientist TOT Division.
