Jalandhar, January 5, 2015: The 8th edition of India Rubber Expo (IRE ‘15), Asia’s largest Expo on Rubber and allied areas has moved to North India for the first time and will be held from 15th – 17thJanuary 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Indian Rubber & Tyre Industry is a key sector of economy with a turnover of over Rs 70000 crore and exports of over Rs 16000 crore per annum.
Organised by All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) and supported by Rubber Board of India, IRE’15 will bring together national and International players in Rubber sector from over 20 countries including from Asia, Americas, Africa and Europe. It will provide an opportunity for showcasing new technologies, products and services, covering the entire gamut of Rubber and Rubber product including tyre Industry, chemicals and machinery.
“Rubber products manufacturing is shifting to Asia. India is poised to play a central role in shaping the growth of rubber and all associated sectors. India Rubber Expo celebrates India’s emergence on the Rubber map of the world. We are committed to Make- in- India drive of the Govt through excellence in rubber manufacturing”, said Mohinder Gupta, Chairman IRE’ 15, President AIRIA and Managing Director, Vinko Auto Industries Ltd Jalandhar.
Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL), Government of India will organise a buyer seller meet at IRE ’15. A three day conference on “Opportunities and Challenges to meet unmet needs in Rubber industry” will be co-organised with Indian Rubber Institute.
One day Workshop is also being held on 16th January 2015 on “Reverse Engineering of Rubber Products” parallel with the conference so as to disseminate knowledge on this vital aspect.
AIRIA is one of the premier industry associations in the country established in 1945. The Association looks after the interests of the Indian rubber industry covering products, raw materials and machinery.
