Mumbai, October 14, 2017: As festive cheer approaches the country, Indiabulls Housing Finance has chosen to bring the feeling of Diwali to the city and its neighbourhood with a Cleanliness Drive. The Drive saw participation across Indiabulls Home Loans’ branches and surrounding neighbourhood, approximately 110 branches in over 55 cities. More than 5,000 employees, including key senior personnel, took part with much enthusiasm and cheer.

Adding to the drive, the employees also surprised the cleaning and housekeeping personnel at their respective offices with sweets and surprise gifts in recognition and appreciation of their efforts to ensure a clean and healthy environment for everyone.

Speaking on the event, Mr. AshwiniHooda (DMD, Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited) said "Every year we clean our homes before Diwali with great enthusiasm but neglect the need to also help clean our cities. The Indiabulls Home Loans family has come together today to clean its neighbouring areas across the country. I am extremely proud of the great turnout we had today.Taking inspiration from the honourable Prime Minister and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, I think it is important to expand our thinking to also include the well-being of our cities and country at large. We are eager to keep contributing to a cleaner and healthier tomorrow and hope every responsible citizen also does his bit to add to the greater good."

The drive was born out of the concept that as Diwali approaches, people go about cleaning their homes but often neglect their larger home, their cities and their country. Diwali is a great time to drive home the concept that one’s home is not just his/her house, but the country as well. It is therefore important for us to maintain a clean city in our capacities, just as we maintain clean homes.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Indiabulls Housing Finance is proud to contribute to the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and strive together to realize the vision of a Clean India.
