Indian Army holds Recruitment Seminar at GKU

Talwandi Sabo, November 6, 2013: The Indian Army held a recruitment seminar at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo in which 650 students from Yadwindra College of Engineering & Technology, Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology, Guru Ram Dass College of Engineering & Technology, Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering & Technology & Guru Kashi University participated. The seminar was inaugurated by Shiv Dutt Sharma, Deputy Supdt of Police, Talwandi Sabo.
Lt. Gurwinder Singh & his team elaborated the complete information about recruitment of officers in the Indian Army & the students became fully aware of it.
Karanjeev Singh, TPO of University stated that under this Pool placement Scheme (UES-24) launched by Indian Army, the selected candidates from these colleges will be eligible for recruitment as Lieutenant without appearing in written examination.
The recruitment will be direct on the basis of Group Discussion & Aptitude Test followed by interview. Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal, Principal, Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Technology stated that Group Discussion and aptitude test followed by Interview will be held at the Guru Kashi University by the Indian Army.
Dr. Narinder Singh, Director (Campus) and Satish Goswami, Registrar were present on this occasion.
