Vijayawada, December 12, 2017: A Two Day “The Indian Performing Arts Show 2017” will be held on 17th and 18th December at the Kurnool Indoor and Ourdoor Stadium in Kurnool, in Andhra Pradesh.

Disclosing this, addressing a press conference here in the city today, D.Ramchandram, representative of event implementing company said the two day festival feature Shivamani, nationally renowned sitarist Ravi Chary and Sangeet Haldipur, popular Bollywood music composer and singer.

The press conference was supposed to be addressed by The Tourism Minister, Govt of AP, Ms. Akhila Priya, Mr. Himanshu Shukla, MD, APTDC and Mr. Mukesh Kumar Menon, Secretary to Govt of AP for Tourism and Culture, but they couldn’t make due to some pressing engagements.

In their absence, speaking to the media, D.Ramchandram said, a folk performance group. Sambalpuri from Orissa would also specially perform.

National level performances like Prince Dance Group, India Got Talent fame would also be part of the event.

Minister Akhila Priya will formally inaugurate the event in the event along with famous comedian who is yet to be confirmed. The day long events will be inaugurated by the Collector of Kurnool.

The objective of the festival, as put by D.Ramchandram was to promote a variety of performing arts, local and national talent and promote art and culture through this event.

It will be a non ticketed event and entry for the same is free. The expected footprint for both days put together will be about ten thousand.

The lineup of the programs include: Telugu Fok Dan ce Kommukoyu; Stand Up comedy; Magic Show; Sambalpuri from Orissa; Prince Dance Group from India Got Talent; Satya Dance Group and Indian Fusion performance.

The line up for the day two include: Puppet Showw, Mimicry; Beerappa Dollu; Cheka Bhajana; Folk Performance from Orissa; Goravallu Nrutyam; Satya Dance Group; Telugu Standup Comedy; Prince Dance Group; Indian Dance Performance.

Geeta Madhuri, the renowned playback singer will also perform along with Chaitanya.

The event highlights include music, dance, drama, acrobatics, firework display, celebrity appearance, surprises and lots more. There will be pulsating variety entertainment, mesmerizing dance routines and musical performances. The inaugural ceremony will commence with the traditional welcome dance, lamp lighting ritual and welcome of officials and delegates from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The event will be open to all – general public as well as invitees comprising artists and prominent personalities of Andhra Pradesh. Witness a melodious extravaganza of performing artistes from diverse backgrounds who will come together to create a spectacular experience.
