Jalandhar, December 7, 2017: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar's Department of Chemistry organized an industrial visit to JCT Ltd Textiles Manufacturing Plant, Phagwara. The main aim behind this visit was to help students gain information regarding the synthesis of yarn from raw materials. 52 students participated in this visit along with 3 teachers. Visiting the various departments of the plant students keenly observed the fabric manufacturing process and also witnessed spinning, weaving, finishing and packaging process.
Principal Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr.Updesh Kaur, Head, Department of Chemistry for organizing such industrial visits to bridge the gap between class room learning and practical exposure.
