Jalandhar - Ludhiana Architects meet held at Phagwara

Phagwara/Ludhiana, August 27, 2013: Joint Meeting of Jalandhar and Ludhiana architects, who are members of The Indian Institute of Architects, was held yesterday evening near Phagwara.
The meeting was chaired by Surinder Pal Singh Bahga, Chairman Publication Board - India of The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA). Bahga is also immediate past Chairman of IIA Chandigarh – Punjab Chapter.
Sanjay Goel from Ludhiana and Joint Secretary of IIA Chandigarh Punjab Chapter managed the whole programme of IIA meeting and visit to Saffrino near Phagwara followed by dinner.
Ar. Bahga explained in detail about past achievements of IIA and immediate works in hand to do unitedly for the welfare of profession including Participation of State Architects in different award programmes in the coming months throughout the Country. The new team of IIA at Mumbai has already decreased membership annual fee as promised in Elections, as informed by Ar. Bahga. Architects were also requested to give their consent for upcoming tours to Chennai, Kathmandu, Lahore etc as per rules.
The State level 3rd consecutive exhibition of building materials “Archibuild” is also going to be held at Chandigarh in September end and architects were advised to attend and contribute in large number as explained by Ar. Rajinder Pal Singh - President of IIA Jallandhar Sub Centre.
The meeting was attended by Office Bearers of IIA Sub Centre Jallandhar including President - Ar.Rajinder Pal Singh, Vice President –Irwandeep Singh, Joint Secretary –Jaswinder, Anshu Nandi, Aman Makol, Thakur Udhay Vir Singh, Satinder Bajwa, Gaganpal Singh etc.
Dinesh Bhagat from Jallandhar and Executive member of IIA Chandigarh Punjab Chapter explained in detail about forth coming seminars, meetings in the region.
From Ludhiana Sanajy Goel – Jt Secy, Rajan Tangri, Bimaldeep Singh, Balbir Bagga, Tarsem Goel etc also attended the meeting.
