The DAVIET, Jalandhar Boys Lawn Tennis team brought laurels to the institute by bagging the gold medal in the Punjab Technical University Inter College Lawn Tennis Competition -2013.

Jalandhar, October 5, 2013: Punjab Technical University Inter College Lawn Tennis Competition -2013 was organised by RIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology Mandi Gobindgarh from October 1 to 2.
The DAVIET Boys Lawn Tennis team brought laurels to the institute by bagging the gold medal in the Punjab Technical University Inter College Lawn Tennis Competition -2013.
The DAVIET girl’s team also played well and bagged bronze medal in the Punjab Technical University Inter College Lawn Tennis Competition-2013. Arsh Oberoi of DAV institute of Engineering and Technology has been judged as the best player of the competition as he remained undefeated throughout the competition. In the final match DAVIET Jalandhar defeated GNE Ludhiana by 6-0, 6-0 in the final double match after both the teams tied at 1-1. Arsh Oberoi of DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology has been selected for the inter varsity competition to be held in September at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Haryana.
The Principal of the institute Prof. A. L. Sangal and Sports president Dr. Jagroop Singh Sidhu congratulated the students for their great achievement in sports.
