Chandigarh, December 27, 2013: The Punjab Government is fully committed to provide employment to the youth of the state and fill vacant posts in different departments in the transparent manner to further improve the administrative services.
Speaking at the function, organised to hand over appointment letters to the newly appointed Building Inspectors, Punjab Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi said that these posts were vacant in the department for a long time and after the approval of Chief Minister, Punjab, the test for the said posts was conducted through Panjab University, Chandigarh. He said that these appointments had been made purely on merit basis in a transparent manner.
Joshi further said that these appointments would help to prevent violation of building construction activities. He added that no violation of norms in the construction of buildings would be tolerated. He instructed the officials to keep a vigil on the violators of law and take immediate action to stop such irregularities.
