Joshi suspends Abohar municipal council JE for negligence in duty

Chandigarh, October 22, 2013: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi today suspended Municipal Council Abohar Junior Engineer Kulwant Singh for negligence in duty. He has been charged for registering the work without checking for which committee has to pay for low quality work.
The Minister has also ordered to charge sheet Banke Bihari, Ramesh Chabra and Suresh Raj who were posted as Assistant Town Planner at Amritsar, for not taking action against illegal construction of Hotels. The Minister has called upon the employees/officials to work honestly and transparently to provide services in a better way.
Joshi said that no such ill regularities would be tolerated in the department at any level and more strict actions would be taken in future. www.cityairnews.co
