Jalandhar, January 28, 2014: Freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai was remembered by the Members of the Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) on his birth anniversary here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the patron of the Samiti Avinash Chaddha said spoke about the role played by Lala Lajpat Rai during the freedom struggle. He also recalled the sacrifice made by Lala Lajpat Rai during the freedom struggle. Chairman of the Samiti SD Chugh, and president Sunil Sharma also spoke. BJP leader Rajat Kumar Mohindru, in his address, said the Deparatment of Education, Punjab must start organising functions in the memory of freedom fighters.
Amit Anand, Pawan Malhan, K.B. Shridhar, Chaggu Sobti, and BD Khosla, Yash Pahalwan, Pankaj Soni. J.J. Kesar, Karan Sharma and Shammi Kanaujia were among those present on the occasion.

Senior BJP leader Shiv Dyal Chugh has been appointed as the Chairman of Punjab BJP Disciplinary Committee. The Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) members hailed the appointment and honored him with bunch of flowers.
