Lecture-cum-demonstration drill regarding fire safety

Chandigarh, June 22, 2017: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh organised a lecture-cum-demonstration drill regarding Fire safety for Security Officers / staff in the Law Auditorium, PU today which would continue on June 23 and 27.

Prof.Ashwani Koul, Chief of University Security, PU in his introductory remarks informed that the fire safety drill would facilitate knowledge of fire safety measures to all present. A lecture on fire safety along with demonstration drill was given by the crew from Fire and Emergency Services of Municipal Corporation, U.T.Chandigarh. There was followed by interactive session in which lot of queries were addressed. PU will organize similar activities for other employees of the University also.
