Hyderabad, December 14, 2016: Link 2 Services Ltd, an Auckland, New Zealand based Logistics Contracting Company with a turnover of NZ $ 12 Million (INR 60 Crores) started by Telugu NRIs from Hyderabad Manasa and Indra Srigiri receives business excellence awards through the hands of New Zealand Prime Minister John Key recently.

The Company walked away with major honors at the Ninth Annual Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards Ceremony held recently at Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland City.

Link 2 Group bagged Business Excellence in Customer Service; Best Employer of Choice and Supreme Business of the Year Award. Rahul Sirigiri, CEO of the same group bagged Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The Group was chosen for Supreme Business of the Year Award because the company began with two employees in Year 2000. Today employs more than 200 people, serving a growing number of multinational and national companies in New Zealand. It is today one of the most sought after companies in New Zealand.

Among the Guests of Honour who graced the occasion include Prime Minister John Key, Leader of the Opposition Andrew Little, Auckland Mayor Phil Goff, Indian High Commissioner Sanjiv Kohli and Gautam Lewis and others

Mr Key, The Prime Minister of New Zealand who spoke on the occasion, highlighted the growing relationship between New Zealand and India and the contributions of the Indian community.

Indra Sirigiri, Founder and Managing Director of Link 2 Group, addressing the gathering after receiving the award shared the experience of migrating 20 years ago with 1600 US dollars and family starting from scratch. Combination of hard work Smart thinking paid off he said. It is matter of great for us at Link 2 Group to win these most coveted awards. The award was initiated by Indian Newslink, The English Language fortnightly, known as the ‘Voice of the One Million Indian Community in New Zealand’, launched the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards in 2008 to recognize and reward business successes in New Zealand. The award is considered the most prestigious by the India’s diaspora in New Zealand.

On the whole awards were given under thirteen different categories to various entrants belonged to Indian diaspora. Link 2 Group is the only company owned by Telugu NRI to have received the award.
