LMA organises a session on Le Beverage Connoisseur

Ludhiana December 2, 2017 : Ludhiana Management Association organized a session on Le Beverage Connoisseur during which Cocktail & Mocktail Etiquettes and their recipes were discussed. The Session was conducted by Mr Anirban Gupta, Director, PCTE-IHM along with other faculty members from PCTE Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. The session was attended by more than 200 Industrialist, Entrepreneurs, Professionals & Senior Executives.

The session was on informing the auidience about classification of drinks, different glassware used for respective drinks and uniqueness of various non alcoholic & alcoholic beverages. In addition some food paring with various drinks were discussed.

The session saw live demonstration of making of classic Cocktails & Mocktails where PCTE introduced some exotic beverages. For instance Mocktail Adam and Eve having flavours like blue Curacao which depicts men and strawberry which depicts women were made into one single mocktail. This was followed by tasting session of Red Wine, White Wine, & Champagne by the members.

Dr. KNS Kang in his presidential comments said that mankind has been having drinks for past 10000 years. Initially they were fermenting beer then graduated to wines and spirits have come in lately. It was important for everyone to know how these drinks are prepared and how they should be consumed.
