Ludhiana, October 6, 2013: Public Works Minister, Punjab Sharanjit Singh Dhillon laid foundation stone of sewerage projects worth Rs. 8 crore in Dhandari, Mangli Neechi, Gobindgarh and Mundian Kalan on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said over all development of Sahnewal constituency was on his top priority and in the next three years this constituency would emerge as best constituency in the state. He would leave no stone unturned as far as the development of the area was concerned, he assured.

According to available information with www.cityairnews.com the minister added the tender for the sewerage projects of villages Dhandari, Gobindgarh and Mangli Neechi had already been allotted and these would be completed in March next. He said the total length of the sewerage projects was 22 kilometers and after its completion 100% colonies of this area would be fully covered under sewerage system.

He also said the sewerage project of 33 feet road Mundian Kalan had been approved. The tender of this work has allotted and it would be completed by March 2014. The total length of this project was about 13 kilometers, he said, adding  100%  colonies of the area would have complete sewerage facility after completion of this project.

Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria (Mayor), Sunita Aggarwal (Senior Deputy Mayor), Surjit Rai (Councillor),  Simranjit Singh Dhillon (General Secretary, Youth Akali Dal), Karamjit Singh Khassi (Circle Jathedar) and Prem Sagar Agarwal  were  among those present.
