Day 2 of BPPIFW showcased a mesmerising collection by Ludhiana based designer Sonu Gandhi followed by designer Mumtaz Khan from Bhopal and designer Riyaz Gangji from Mumbai on day 2.

Ludhiana, October 5, 2013: Blender’s Pride Punjab International Fashion Week (BPPIFW) endeavours to promote, support and nurture a promising list of budding designers along with collections of established designers who have shown on Indian as well as international runways and have made a mark in the industry.

Day 2 of BPPIFW showcased a mesmerising collection by Ludhiana based designer Sonu Gandhi followed by designer Mumtaz Khan from Bhopal and designer Riyaz Gangji from Mumbai on day 2.

The opening of the day 2 of BPPIFW 2013 was done by designer Sonu Gandhi. Model Maushmi Udeshi featured as the showstoppers.

The show was followed by designer Mumtaz Khan’s show where he showcased his Jalsa Collection. The show stoppers for the show was well known model Diandra Soares. According to designer Mumtaz Khan, “Jalsa is a collection of charms from the heart of Central India. It rejoices colors, prints and craftsmanship from the region. The collection comes with traditional arts put together with modern stand. The designer has the created gala of weddings in georgette, chiffon, very own bagh & more this time for the baraatis. Take care of the surprises from the designer’s end adorned by men. Enjoy the forecast with neon colors and an array of short dresses that make Jalsa-a true celebration.”

The day 2 of BPPFW 2013 was ended by designer Riyaz and Reshma Gangji’s wonderful show which featured Divya Dutta as the show stopper. The theme for the show was bright colors for festive season.

According to the designer duo “The collection is an amalgamation of bright festive colors, Indian textiles and traditional Indian embroideries teamed with wearable styles and sophisticate cuts. The menswear line gives ethnic garments a modern twist while the women’s wear makes ethnic Indian garments more wearable and appealing to the modern woman. This collection is the feel of an Indian festive day being celebrated across the globe”.

Celebrating the spirit of fashion, in the fourth season, BPPIFW has collaborated with presenting sponsor Blenders Pride in association with Nine Hills and strategic collaborations with Kingfisher Ultra, The Body Shop, Flying Machine, iNIFD, 94.3 MY FM and Mahindra Xylo.

Raja Banerji, GM Marketing - Pernod Ricard India, the presenting sponsors of the fashion week comments, “Blenders Pride has been at the vanguard of fashion with an association built over the years.
