Ludhiana, October 7, 2013: Blender’s Pride Punjab International Fashion Week (BPPIFW) endeavors to promote, support and nurture a promising list of budding designers along with collections of established designers who have shown on Indian as well as international runways and have made a mark in the industry. Day 4 (Sunday) of BPPIFW showcased a mesmerizing collection by the Ludhiana based designer duo Sandeep & Ravi followed by Mumbai based designer AD Singh, Aslam Khan and Rocky S.

The opening of the day 4 of BPPFW 2013 was done by designer duo Sandeep & Ravi where they showcased their beautiful collection Tu Meri Heer, according to information received by www.cityairnews.com The Show stopper was Smriti Khanna. The collection was inspired from Heer who is the icon of Punjabi, a symbol of woman rising above class. She exemplifies the struggle of a woman’s right to choice by subverting and defying the patriarchal institutions that dominated society then. And she signifies love and beauty as well. So she is truly the face of modern day independent woman. The Silhouettes are Lehangas, anarkalis,  innovative drape of sarees, gowns and indo western suits with dhoti salwars  and trousers and Color palette used are mushroom, gold, beige, tonal variations of maroons, burgundy, ruby, shades of pink and neon’s as contrast whereas the fabrics used are georgette, silks, zari, velvet, nets,

The show was followed by designer AD Singh astonishing show and the stopper was Karishma Tanna.  He showcased his current line for the season "Crystallized" which was launched at Blenders pride style Punjab fashion week. Crystallized looks more closely at fashions continuing passion for shine, sheen and crystal gleam, a glittering thread of crystal inspired style that cuts across trends and directions; a style a mood an impulse so strong that it has developed into a fashion theme in its own right. A capsule collection that explodes an over the top interpretation of Swarovski crystal obsession popular with all AD's Bollywood and Hollywood clientele. Silhouettes completely encrusted with Swarovski crystals and components results into a flamboyant ultra-feminine sensuality in bridal couture to make each one sit up and take notice. Each of the composure is special and different, personalized without restraint a melting pot of class and distinctiveness which sparks an entire wedding collection of sarees, lenghas, ghagras, Anarkalis and Wedding gowns. The collection was chic with ultra-modern cuts and style lines finely tuned to pick up new way to sparkle with crystals or should we say it’s more style with Ad Singh. 

The next show was followed by designers Aslam Khan and the show stopper was gorgeous Former Mrs. India 2012 and also the CEO Storm Fashion Company Reet Sahu.

Rocky Star glamorous designs featured as the ‘Grand Finale’ for BPPIFW 2013 and Simran Kaur Mundi was the show stopper who is also the Brand Ambassador for BPPIFW 2013. This season delineated the dramatic splendor of mystery. The mystery of dark, unfolds itself in subtle affluence, amalgamated in the intricacies of exaggerated textures and layers. Keeping the signature “Black" aligned, the collection renovates the genesis of color black, recreating the aura of dark medieval age of Fashion which is all about lavishness, seduction, gorgeous contours of femininity.

Celebrating the spirit of fashion, in the fourth season, BPPIFW has collaborated with presenting sponsor Blenders Pride in association with Nine Hills and strategic collaborations with Kingfisher Ultra, The Body Shop, Flying Machine, iNIFD, 94.3 MY FM and Mahindra Xylo.
