A joint cycle rally for creating awareness against air and noise pollition is being taken out jointly by Ludhiana Pedallers Club & Sankara Eye Hospital at Ludhiana on Friday evening.
Ludhiana, November 7, 2015: Ludhiana Pedallers Club & Sankara Eye Hospital on Friday evening jointly held a cycle rally to highlight the bad effects cause by firecrackers and burning of paddy straw during the season. The rally gave a message to the society or clean & green celebrations by exchanging greetings and sweets. And use the traditional method of lamps & candles.
The rally passed through Sarabha Nagar, Malhar Road, Pakhowal Road, Ghumar Mandi, Mall Road, Bharat Nagar Chowk and ended at Sarabha Nagar Market. The team of doctors from Sankara Eye Hospital highlighted the health hazards cause due to spurious crackers which cause major injuries and may even results in blindness. The Chief Patron of Ludhiana Pedallers Club gives a strong message for clean & green celebration.
S. Davinder Singh Nagi (President) , S. Gurinder Singh (Cashier), S. Pushpinder Singh Chaggar also addressed and conveyed their message for safe and healthy society. The rally was attended by more than 100 members including the students of Optometry of Sankara Eye Hospital joined the rally. Brigadier M.S. Gujral (C.E.O.) , Mr. Binni Ibrahim (C.E.O. Admn.) and Ms. Prabhjot Kaur (Business Development Manager) of Sankara Eye Hospital advised the citizen to avoid firecrackers and celebrate diwali with lamps. Rally was largely attended by giving a strong message of clean & green Ludhiana to everyone.
