Lyallpur Khalsa College organised special program to honour Athlete Gurvindervir Singh

Jalandhar, May 25, 2017: Lyallpur Khalsa College organized a special program to honour S.Gurvindervir Singh an eminent personality in the field of Sports on the occasion of his special visit to the visit.
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra honoured Gurvindervir Singh for his special achievements in sports while the sportsperson also paid obeisance in the College Gurudwara Sahib. It was specially highlighted that Gurvindervir Singh hold various records in 100 metres category of athletics and has won major honours including his national record of 10.74 timing and an even better timing of 10.69 at the Asian Youth Athletics held at Beijing a few days ago in which he reached the finals as well.
College Governing Council President Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. GS Samra congratulated the sportsperson and announced a complete free ship and other facilities to him on his joining the college.
Dr.Jaspal Singh HOD Physical Education Department, Coach Sarabjit Singh Happy, Prof.Dinkar Sharma and Prof.Palwinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
