Ludhiana, November 5, 2015: Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, the market leader in Oral Care in association with Indian Dental Association (IDA) initiated the 12th  edition of Oral Health Month in October – November , this year, with a focus to ‘Keep India Smiling’. As a part of this annual initiative, free dental check-ups have been organized to spread oral health and hygiene awareness throughout the country.
Mandira Bedi, a renowned personality, was present at the event in Ludhiana to spread the message of good oral hygiene habits among children.
In Ludhiana, an OHM Mobile Dental Van provided free cavity check-ups to lesser privileged children from the NGO ‘Darpan’. Mandira Bedi spoke to the children about their own oral care regime and the importance of good oral habits to prevent cavities. Furthermore, the children pledged to spread the message of good oral hygiene to their friends and family.
This year, Oral Health Month with new and stronger initiatives aims to touch lives of 6 million people across India, with participation of over 35,000 IDA dentists. In Ludhiana, the OHM mobile dental van aims to provide free dental check-ups to residents, children, etc. across different touch points.
