Master Plan for Mountain Town near Jubbarhatti to be prepared within two weeks: Sudhir Shrma

Shimla, June 14, 2017: A meeting to hold deliberations for execution of proposed project of Mountain Town near Shimla Airport was held at New Delhi today between HIMUDA and Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), the executing agency selected by the Singapore government. Shri Sudhir Sharma Urban Development Minister presided over the meeting.

Detailed discussions were held regarding speedy execution of the project and the plan of the proposed town has been finalized.
Shri Sudhir Sharma informed that a Special Purpose Vehicle will be formed for the purpose within a month constituting five board members with one member from HIMUDA and four from SCE. He said that the master plan will be finalized within two weeks. An agreement between Himachal Pradesh and Singapore Governments will be signed within this month, he added.
Sh Umesh Sharma Chief Engineer HIMUDA, Sh Chander Shekhar Sewal Chief Accounts Officer, Senior Architects, Engineers of HIMUDA, and Representatives of SCE participated in the meeting.
